Midfielder Ruud Vormer will depart Roda JC for Feyenoord on a free transfer at the end of the season, the Rotterdam club has confirmed.
The 23-year-old is poised to sign a three-year deal at De Kuip after he undergoes a medical in January.
Vormer's contract in Kerkrade expires in the summer and he has turned down the offer of an extension.
Feyenoord sporting director Martin van Geel told the club's official website: "Although he is only 23, he already has plenty of experience.
"His playing style perfectly suits Feyenoord. He is a good player and has a great attitude as well. We are very happy that he will be playing for Feyenoord next year."
Holding midfielder Vormer joined Roda from AZ Alkmaar in 2008 after coming through the youth ranks with the current Eredivisie leaders.
He has established himself as a key player at the Parkstad Limburg Stadium, notching up over 100 league appearances.
Eredivisie rivals Vitesse were also thought to be chasing his signature but Feyenoord have beaten them to the punch.
