Rangers manager Ally McCoist has revealed that forward Kyle Lafferty will not need surgery to overcome a back spasm.
The Northern Ireland international endured the problem during Rangers' away clash with Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League that they won 2-0.

"I'm not sure about Lafferty yet, possibly," he stated. "He had reasonably good news about scans on his back.
"He is fine. It's a wee problem but nothing major. No surgery is needed and he is hopefully going to train tomorrow."
Rangers are currently are in pole position in the league standings with 45 points from 18 matches, four points ahead of arch rivals Celtic.
