Skysports.com understands West Brom and Old Firm duo Rangers and Celtic are set to hold talks with Dundee United starlet Scott Allan.
The 20-year-old, who made his SPL debut this season, is able to talk to interested clubs from 1st December as he is about to enter the final six months of his current contract at Tannadice.
Discussions over a new deal with United have broken down and the SPL club are resigned to losing the highly-rated Allan.
West Brom have agreed a fee with Dundee United to sign Allan and they are hoping to win the race for the Scotland Under 21 international.
However, Rangers and Celtic have now been granted permission by United to hold talks with Allan as they look to keep the player in Scotland.
News of West Brom agreeing a fee with United has alerted a number of Premier League's top clubs to making a move for Allan when the transfer window reopens next month.
Manchester City are believed to be keeping tabs on Allan's situation after watching him in action earlier this season.
