Steve Kean is hoping David Dunn and David Hoilett will soon commit their futures to Blackburn, with contract talks ongoing.
Rovers have endured a tough time in the Premier League this season and could do with some good news off the field.
Tying two of their most creative playmakers down on fresh terms would offer a timely boost.
Dunn has entered the final year of his current deal and will become a free agent in the summer if an extension is not put in place.
Hoilett, meanwhile, is attracting interest from afar and discussions regarding a new deal for the Canadian forward have dragged on since the summer.
Kean is, however, confident that both men will be staying at Ewood Park.
He said: "When you see the way David (Dunn) plays and what Blackburn means to him, we'd certainly like to keep him.
"One of the directors has been speaking to his representatives and hopefully that will get sorted out.
"With Junior, it's ongoing. We feel we've put a good offer together and the directors have been dealing with this.
"I've just been trying to keep the player in the form he's in.
"We want him to be part of what we're trying to do here. It's certainly not dead."
