Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has not ruled out January transfer bids for Gary Cahill, Nicolas Anelka and Alex.
Spurs are currently flying high in the Premier League and in a rich vein of form, but could strengthen their squad when the window opens this winter.
They were close to agreeing a deal for Cahill in the summer while Chelsea's Alex and Anelka have recently been transfer listed.
Redknapp would not say the club are frantically pursuing any of the trio but admits each player possesses real quality.
"Alex is a good player but he is not a player who we have made enquiries for," Redknapp said.
"I've always been a big fan of Gary Cahill. I have tried to sign him a few times. He is a good signing for somebody if he leaves.
"Anelka is a good player as well. All three are good players. I wouldn't sit here and say I wouldn't be interested in any of them.
"It depends on what happens here."
Spurs have won 10 of their last 11 Premier League matches but face a tricky trip to the Britannia Stadium on Sunday where Stoke lie in wait.
