Bournemouth midfielder Wes Fogden insists the Cherries' new-look side are starting to click.
Fogden, who joined the Dorset club from non-league Havant & Waterlooville in October, pointed out that the Cherries needed a period of time to bed down after a huge turnaround of players over the summer.
And now the 23-year-old is confident he and his team-mates can match the achievements of their predecessors and reach the play-offs in May.
"At the start of the season 11 players left so it's been a bit of a transitional time here," he said. "Now we've got a big squad and the quality of the players is just pushing everyone on higher and the results are starting to show now.
"We're five matches unbeaten and we are all confident we can keep pushing on from here. As a team we all think that the play-offs are realistic, if we keep performing.
"We were struggling a little bit but now we've gone on this unbeaten run and if we can continue that the play-offs could be at the end of it."
