QPR defender Anton Ferdinand insists they are solely focused on their own game ahead of the visit to Liverpool.
Rangers travel to Anfield on Saturday fresh from their 1-1 draw against West Brom at Loftus Road last week.
The R's snared a 3-2 win against Stoke at the Britannia Stadium three weeks ago and now want to claim another high-profile scalp.
"We have to make sure we are on the ball and worry about ourselves," Ferdinand told the club's official website.
"We are 100 per cent focused on what we are going to do and how we are going to play.
"If we approach the match like that, there's no reason why we can't repeat what we did at Stoke a couple of weeks ago."
Rangers should have claimed their second home win of the season against West Brom last weekend but were denied by a late Shane Long goal.
"We were all disappointed at the end," he added.
"Personally, regardless of who we are playing, if we come off the pitch at home having drawn or lost the game, I am going to be disappointed.
"I think that we have got to make Loftus Road a real fortress and make sure we pick up as many points there as possible."
