Cardiff midfielder Aaron Wildig has extended his loan contract at League Two outfit Shrewsbury into a second month.

The 19-year-old won all three of his appearances for Shrews before picking up an ankle injury in the 2-0 triumph over Morecambe which ruled him out of last weekend's FA Cup victory against Rotherham. Wildig has a strong chance of being fit to face Aldershot this weekend, and manager Graham Turner told Town's official website: "We've extended Aaron's loan for another month which takes it into January and then we'll judge it from there. "He was doing well and we'd had some good results with him in the side so the injury was a setback, but he's made a very quick recovery. It looked quite bad when he first did it. The first diagnosis was that he would be out for several weeks but he has made a very rapid recovery." Meanwhile, Shrewsbury midfielder Steve Leslie has extended his deal at Hereford into a third and final month. The midfielder has featured eight times for the Bulls, finding the net twice, since he departed the Greenhous Meadow at the start of October.
