Dortmund captain claims nothing is broken and his eyesight is fine

Borussia Dortmund captain Sebastian Kehl has declared that his injury is not too serious after picking up a knock in the 3-2 defeat by Marseille in the UEFA Champions League. The former Germany international was taken off the pitch on a stretcher in the first half on Tuesday after he was fouled by Marseille's Stephane Mbia, which resulted in a penalty, giving Dortmund a 2-0 lead. There were worries that the defensive midfielder had suffered similar facial injuries to team-mate Neven Subotic but Kehl claims that there is nothing to worry about. "I have not received any serious damage though the tackle, nothing has been broken. Also my eye and eyesight is rather OK," said Kehl.
