Charlton boss Chris Powell has singled out his young right-back Chris Solly for his role in the club's success this season.
Solly, 20, has made the position his own this season and impressed for the League One leaders again in the 2-0 FA Cup win over Carlisle on Saturday.
"He's some player, that young man," said Powell. "I'm very happy with him like I am with all our players.
"It's a very rare I talk about individuals but I have got full trust in him. I think teams look at him and think 'can we get at him?' I think 'you are wasting your time.'
"He's such a good one-versus-one defender. He's a competitor who likes to defend, but also contributes going forward as well."
