Chelsea go into their final UEFA Champions League game at home to Valencia needing either a victory or a goalless draw to secure their progress.
Here, skysports.com takes a look at how the key battles may shape up on what promises to be a tense evening at Stamford Bridge.
DAVID LUIZ v ROBERTO SOLDADO
Luiz continues to prove more of a liability than an asset for Chelsea in the Premier League, the Brazilian lucky not to be sent off in Saturday's win at Newcastle. The defender has had a much easier ride in Europe but will have to be on his guard against one of the continent's most in-form forwards. Soldado has netted 26 times in his last 28 outings, six of those goals coming in the last four games.
JUAN MATA v MIGUEL MONTEIRO
It was honours even when former team-mates Mata and Miguel went head to head at the Mestalla in September, the pair knowing each other's games inside out following four years together with Los Che. Mata has settled in seamlessly at Chelsea and will be keen to get one over a man who Valencia boss Unai Emery holds in reserve almost exclusively for the big games.
DANIEL STURRIDGE v JEREMY MATHIEU
A battle between two players staking a claim for a place at next summer's European Championship, where their respective countries will meet in the Group D opener. Both players made their international debuts last month, Sturridge for England and Mathieu for France. Sturridge has been in superb form of late and will relish testing himself against a potential opponent at Euro 2012.
