Corry Evans believes Hull City's players would love to 'get one over' Nigel Pearson, as he returns to the KC stadium with Leicester City.
The former Tigers boss returned to the Foxes last month after being named Sven-Goran Eriksson's successor at the King Power Stadium.
It will be Pearson's first return to the KC since he re-joined Leicester, although Evans insists that beating the Foxes is motivation enough for his team-mates.
Asked if the players will want to show Pearson what he has left behind, Evans said: "Yes, I'm sure there is that, definitely.
Get one over
"The players haven't seen him since the West Ham game [November 5], there was obviously an international break.
"It would be good to put one over on him and show that he maybe should have stayed with Hull City instead of going back to Leicester.
"At the start of the season you pick out games you want to play in and Leicester would be up there anyway, so it's an even bigger game now obviously.
"We've lost the last two games and don't want to lose a third, especially at home, and to get back in that top six we need to get back to winning ways."
