Veteran striker still has a role at Milan

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has ruled out selling Filippo Inzaghi in the January transfer window. Inzaghi's future at Milan has been the subject of speculation due to his lack of first-team opportunities this season. The 38-year-old is thought to be unhappy with his bit-part role, but Allegri is keen to retain his services at the San Siro. "He should stay at Milan because I think he'll find space in the team over the course of the season," said Allegri. "I'm not thinking about selling him in January, but if the player is unhappy it'll be something that would have to be evaluated between himself, the club and I." Meanwhile, Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati has been ruled out of action for two weeks with a shoulder injury.
