Aberdeen goalkeeper makes loan switch as young striker returns
Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield is set to make his return to first-team football just six months after suffering a brain seizure.
The 31-year-old has joined Division Two strugglers Forfar Athletic on a month's loan to regain match fitness.
Langfield, who has been included in Scotland squads without winning his first cap, suffered a seizure at his home in May.
Operation
Meanwhile, young striker Michael Paton has returned to Pittodrie for an operation on a hernia injury.
The 22-year-old's loan spell at lowly Blue Square Premier side Stockport, where he netted four goals in 17 appearances, has been cut short.
But the English club have not ruled out re-signing him when he regains full fitness.
