Notts County defender Krystian Pearce insists manager Martin Allen has yet to see the best of him this season.
Pearce has been an integral part of the Notts backline this season, playing 21 times and scoring three goals.
The 21-year-old is looking to improve as the campaign progresses.
He told the club's official website: "I think I played better against Scunthorpe on Saturday than I have in previous weeks.
"I am just trying to work hard on the training ground and keep putting in good performances. I know the weak parts of my game and the gaffer is an experienced man, so I go to him and get advice where I can.
"I don't think this is the best of me yet, so I am hoping to improve and get better as the season goes on."
