Beram Kayal claims Celtic are better than Rangers in every department and believes they are capable of winning a domestic treble.
Celtic have fired themselves back into title contention after cutting the gap on Rangers at the top of the table from 12 points to four in just over a week following three successive wins.
Israel international Kayal is confident Celtic can reel in Rangers and go on to secure a clean sweep of honours in Scotland this season, believing Neil Lennon's side are superior to their Old Firm rivals.
"Last season we played the best football in the country," said Kayal. "It has taken time to come together this term but the gaffer is now doing that very well.
"We looked to win the league last season but didn't. I hope this time everyone can do their best to win everything in the country and do well in Europe. We are coming back to playing the right way.
"We can play the best football because we have the best squad and the best players in this country."
The 23-year-old midfielder also feels he is finding his best form after an indifferent start to the campaign.
"I try to play better every game. I feel I'm getting back to my best," added Kayal.
"At the start of the season I had a lot of injuries. Now I feel much better and try to give the maximum to help everyone.
"It has taken me time this season to play well. We haven't played like we did last season but we are now getting there."
