Lille defender Aurelien Chedjou claims to have been in contact with Serie A giants Juventus regarding a possible transfer.
The centre-back feels he is ready to join a bigger club, with it time to test himself in one of Europe's most prestigious leagues.
A switch to Italy would appeal and reports have suggested for some time that he could soon be on his way to Juve.
Chedjou has now backed up those claims by revealing that the Turin-based outfit have already been in touch.
"There has indeed been contact, but if Juventus want to sign me, they'll have to talk with Lille," the Cameroon international was quoted as saying by Tuttosport.
"I'm 26 years old now and ready to move on. I am not interested in a move to Spain, but Italy and Juventus are interesting options.
"I have been a Juventus fan ever since I was a little boy."
Chedjou is under contract at Lille until 2015, so Juve would have to pay a sizeable fee if they are to lure him away from France.
