Blackburn boss Steve Kean says Chris Samba and Martin Olsson should both be back in action this weekend.
Both players have been suffering from hamstring injuries, which have sidelined them for the last few weeks.
Neither defender is contention to face Cardiff in the Carling Cup on Tuesday, but the duo could line-up against Swansea on Saturday.
"Hopefully there'll be some lads that'll make the Swansea game," Kean said.
"They won't make the game on Tuesday, but Samba and Olsson should be fine for the Swansea game which will be massive for us."
Against Cardiff, Rovers are ready to bring in some of their fringe players with Mark Bunn, Radosav Petrovic, David Goodwillie and Simon Vukcevic all set to figure.
"We'll put out a side that we think will do well," added Kean.
"With the ball we are making chances, so let's go and get through this tie and then we can look forward to Swansea."
