Kevin Doyle says no-one in the Wolves squad is certain of a place in the starting line-up after the team's terrible run.
Doyle has scored just twice this season with the Midlands side picking up just one win in their last ten games.
Wolves, who are 17th in the table and just two points clear of relegation, face a difficult trip to Chelsea on Saturday who themselves are enduring a poor run of form.
Doyle told The Daily Mirror: "With the run we've been on I don't think anyone is staking a claim to their own place, including myself.
"All of us are susceptible to being dropped on recent results and for those coming in, if we get a result, then it gives them a chance because positions are open.
"For the lads that aren't playing, in a way when the team hasn't been doing well it is a different situation because if they come in and make a difference the chance is there."
