Middlesbrough have loaned highly-rated teenager Adam Reach to Darlington.
The 18-year-old, who scored on his debut for Boro last season, has agreed a month-long stay at the Darlington Arena.
The versatile teenager, who can play anywhere down the left as well as up front, is expected to make his debut against Tamworth this weekend.
"It's a great opportunity for Adam to come in and get some matches under his belt in a different environment," said Darlington's caretaker boss Craig Liddle.
"He's someone I've been aware of for three or four years now.
"He's played plenty of reserve team football, and I think Boro want to see him get some competitive games in.
"He'll give me more options up front as well so the deal works perfectly for all parties and we'll hopefully see the best of Adam in the Conference."
