Goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann has signed a one-month extension to his deal at Preston, where he has been impressive of late.
The 30-year-old German shotstopper initially joined North End on a contract that ran out on December 3 but after impressing in-between the posts, he will remain at Deepdale until January 3 2012.
Stuckmann has conceded just three goals in four matches with Phil Brown's side and has saved four penalties, which includes a disallowed stop in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy against Rochdale.
