Huddersfield Town have bolstered their defensive options after signing Leeds' Alex Bruce on loan until 2nd January.
The ex-Ipswich man has been out of the first-team picture at Elland Road after slipping down manager Simon Grayson's pecking order.
Bruce joined Leeds from Portman Road in the summer of 2010 and he went on to make 25 appearances over the course of the season.
Terriers boss Lee Clark is delighted to have the 27-year-old on board, stating his leadership skills will be an invaluable addition.
"Alex has played his entire professional career in the Championship or above. He is an inspirational player who is a leader," he told Huddersfield's official website.
"We are looking forward to welcoming him into the squad. We think he'll add something a little different; he is a very combative defender."
