Bournemouth have added to their squad with the signing of Leyton Orient defender Charlie Daniels.

Daniels underwent a medical on Wednesday before agreeing personal terms, and joins the Cherries initially on loan before the move is made permanent in January. The 25-year-old, a product of the Tottenham youth system, played 175 times in all competitions over two stints with the Os. The transfer could net Orient a six-figure sum, although chairman Barry Hearn said losing Daniels is a real blow for his side. He told the Daily Echo: "I am always unhappy to lose a quality player but I have to live in the real world. "He has done brilliantly for Leyton Orient and I wish him the very best of luck in his career. He is an exceptionally nice lad and he will be an asset to any side."
