Celtic manager Neil Lennon has confirmed a deal has been agreed to sign Andre Blackman after the former Arsenal trainee impressed on trial.
Blackman had been looking for a new club after leaving AFC Wimbledon and he has spent the past few weeks training with the Bhoys.
The 21-year-old, who has also been on the books of the likes of Portsmouth and Bristol City, has now accepted an undisclosed deal at Parkhead.
He can play in defence and in midfield, and Lennon is happy to have given Blackman the chance to make an impact in the SPL.
"He's a kid who was out of contract and he was recommended by an agent friend of mine," said Lennon.
"We had a good look at him for two or three weeks and he's a hungry boy who wants to make a name for himself."
