The agent of Porto's highly-rated frontman Hulk claims there is a possibility that his client could join countryman Leonardo at Paris St Germain.
The Brazilian remains one of the hottest properties in European football, with his future called into question with each passing transfer window.
A move to any number of the continent's top clubs has been touted, with teams in England, Spain and Italy said to be keen.
Ambitious Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala are also understood to have entered the race, while PSG now have the funds to finance a big-money deal.
Hulk's representative has hinted that a switch to France could be possible, with PSG's sporting director Leonardo known to be a long-standing admirer of the burly striker.
"There is nothing concrete between Hulk and Paris Saint-Germain," Teodoro Fonseca told le10sport.com.
"Nevertheless, Leonardo has always wanted Hulk at his clubs.
"When he was at Inter and AC Milan, he already tried to sign him."
Questioned on whether the project PSG are embarking on under their Qatari owners would appeal to Hulk, Fonseca said: "It is magnificent. The town, the fans, the structure, the stadium, the club have everything to become big again.
"Any player would love to play for PSG and for us Brazilians, they are a very special club. Hulk respects PSG and their history a lot."
While a move to Parc des Princes could be put in place, Fonseca has made it clear that no deal will be agreed in the New Year.
"This winter, no," he noted.
"Hulk is only thinking about Porto, the Champions League and the Brazil national team.
"At the end of the season, however, we will pay close attention to offers from Paris."
