Walsall have been buoyed by the news that promising frontman Will Grigg has agreed a new deal with the club.
The Northern Ireland international has committed himself to a contract that will run until the summer of 2013.
The youngster has already netted three times this season and manager Dean Smith is pleased to learn of his decision to pen fresh terms.
"I am delighted that we have been able to extend Will's deal," he told the club's official website.
"He has come on extremely well over the past six or seven months and fully deserves this new and extended contract.
"I am looking forward to working with him and helping him continue to improve and develop both as a player and as a person."
