Barnet have completed the signing of Alassane N'Diaye, with the midfielder joining the capital club as a free agent.
The Bees are hoping to put his commanding presence to good use in their League Two endeavours.
It is expected that he will go straight into Lawrie Sanchez's squad for Saturday's trip to Bristol Rovers.
"The paperwork for the signing of the 21-year-old French-Senegalese free agent Alassane N'Diaye was completed at Underhill this morning (Friday) and sent to the Football League to beat the midday deadline for registration," read a statement released on the club's official website.
N'Diaye has been training with the Bees for over a week and impressed enough during that time to earn a permanent deal.
He has spent the last two years in English football, with Crystal Palace having snapped him up in 2009.
The youngster made 38 appearances for the Eagles, scoring three goals, but saw his contract cancelled in August.
