The agent of Lyon midfielder Yoann Gourcuff claims Arsenal have made no approach for his client and he remains fully focused on his fitness.
Reports continue to suggest that the France international features prominently on Arsene Wenger's wish list.
Speculation mounted steadily throughout the summer that a raid was imminent, with the Gunners known to be in the market for creative talent.
No bid was lodged but it is rumoured that the Premier League outfit could make their move in January.
Gourcuff's representative insists there have been no signs that an offer will be made, with the 25-year-old still struggling with a niggling ankle problem.
"Yoann is working to return as soon as possible to the field after an ankle injury," Alain Migliaccio told calciomercato.it.
"The rumours about the (Arsenal) interest? At the moment he is only thinking about his recovery.
"Wenger is a dear friend of mine and I have never been asked about this player."
