Rangers have extended trialist Sone Aluko's stay at the club as manager Ally McCoist weighs up a contract offer.
The former Aberdeen striker is currently training with the SPL champions in a bid to win a permanent stay at Ibrox.
Aluko left the Dons over the summer, although the Pittodrie side would still be entitled to some compensation if he signed for another team in Scotland.
McCoist remains undecided on Aluko's future and has now extended his trial by an additional week as he continues to finalise an opinion.
Meanwhile, Gers' Scotland international goalkeeper Allan McGregor thinks the Nigerian has impressed and is hoping a deal can be thrashed out.
"I thought he looked really good. He looks like he can offer something different," McGregor said of Aluko.
"He likes to take the ball, he's quick and he has shown some good finishes. Hopefully for him and the club it will be good."
