Vitesse Arnhem will not sell star striker Wilfried Bony in the January transfer window, according to technical director Ted van Leeuwen.
The Ivorian youngster has scored eight goals already this season to help Vitesse to fourth place in the Eredivisie table.
His exploits have turned heads across Europe with several clubs, including Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, thought to be monitoring the 22-year-old.
However, Van Leeuwen claims Vitesse resisted interest in Bony from various clubs in the summer and are prepared to do so again in January.
"Last summer a number of clubs reportedly (wanted him)," he told Radio Gelderland. "We're really not going to sell Bony in the winter."
The club chief also insists he has heard nothing of Bayern's supposed interest, adding: "I know nothing of Bayern."
