Midfielder Stephen Hughes has finalised his return to former club Motherwell on a contract until the New Year.
The 29-year-old left Norwich City in the summer and linked up with Well last month in order to work on his fitness levels.
Hughes has impressed in three bounce games and he was offered a contract until 3rd January by manager Stuart McCall.
He is now expected to go straight into McCall's squad for Saturday's SPL fixture against Aberdeen as he looks to secure a more permanent deal.
The former Rangers and Leicester man previously played for Motherwell for two years before signing for Norwich in 2009.
