Young striker looks for first-team

Sunderland starlet Ryan Noble is looking to make his return to the first-team after recovering from injury. The 20-year-old made the breakthrough last season, featuring in three games but a back injury ruled him out long-term. He is now approaching full fitness and he is already aiming to push for a first-team place. "The longer you're out the more you want to play, and its all about building my time back up and getting minutes on the pitch," he said. "I want to get back up to that level now I have had a set-back with injuries and now it's time to push on. "I know I need to improve on my hold up play and build my strength up in the gym and obviously keep on top of my finishing, so that every time I do get a chance I can put the ball away. "When you play in the Premier League - it's the best league in the world - when you get there you want to stay there. "Obviously that hasn't quite worked out for me, so now I need to build up again and try and get there again and hopefully get my first goal at that level."
