Lyon goalkeeper doesn't believe decision has been made yet

Hugo Lloris has refused to be drawn on speculation he could be the new France captain. The Lyon goalkeeper was named as skipper on Friday night in the 1-0 friendly win over the USA despite Alou Diarra, who has led the team out eight times under Laurent Blanc, also being in the starting XI. Lloris insists it will not have an impact on his game and he will remain the same player with or without the armband. The 24-year-old told L'Equipe: "Am I starting to get used to the armband? Yes, but I don't get too focused on that, except at the start of the match when the captain has duties. "Then, I am focused the same as if I am not wearing it. "Is it a strong sign from the coach? I believe it is trust and I try to use it. I may have 29 caps, but I am still young. "Feeling trust from the staff and the coach, it gives you more desire to commit your-self for the good of the team."
