Stephen Ward has committed his future to Wolves until the summer of 2015.

The versatile Republic of Ireland international has been rewarded for his consistency with a new three-and-a-half-year deal.

Ward, who has played in defence, midfield and attack since arriving from Bohemians in January 2007, was previously contracted until 2013.

"We're all delighted that Wardy has extended his contract," boss Mick McCarthy told the club's official website.
