Rotherham have extended the loan spell of Notts County's Jon Harley after the left-back's original one-month deal expired.

The defender's initial loan contract at the League Two club came to an end after last weekend's victory over Aldershot, but he will now stay at Don Valley until January 2. "It was something that I wanted to do after speaking with the manager last week, and fortunately the two clubs have agreed to it," Harley said. Manager Andy Scott added: "We have extended the loan until January, which I am delighted about. He goes about his business very well and he is a terrific pro. He has fit in seamlessly really." Harley is ineligible to play in the Millers' FA Cup trip to Barrow this weekend.
