Thomas Sorensen has been offered a new contract by Stoke and is mulling over their proposal.
The 35-year-old joined the Potters in 2008 but has been relegated to second choice since the arrival of Asmir Begovic.
It has meant the Denmark international has seen his outings restricted to mainly cup games.
However, their run to the FA Cup last term kept him in the spotlight and this year's involvement in the Europa League has meant he has played more frequently.
But he does have some concerns over his place in the national team ahead of Euro 2012 if the Potters suffer early elimination in the cup games.
"Stoke have given me a contract offer. It is something I have to consider," Sorensen told The Sentinel.
"If we have a long run in the Europa League and the FA Cup in the spring, there will be many games for me.
"But you can't be sure of that - and towards the European Championships, of course, I would like to play some games."
