Catania chief executive Pietro Lo Monaco claims the Serie A outfit will not stand in the way if AC Milan follow up their interest in Maxi Lopez.
The Argentine striker has been touted as a potential January transfer target for the Rossoneri.
The reigning Italian champions have found themselves short on firepower after seeing Antonio Cassano undergo minor heart surgery.
Maxi is considered to be a man capable of covering for that loss and a New Year approach has been mooted.
Catania are aware of the rumours and insist they will happily discuss a deal if Milan come calling.
"Maxi Lopez is a player who can do very well in any team and the fact that Milan like him gives us satisfaction," Lo Monaco told Radio Kiss Kiss.
"If Milan show further interest in the player then we will not stop any deal from taking place."
