Skysports.com understands Doncaster are closing on a deal that will see them land Wolves goalkeeper Carl Ikeme on a short-term loan.
Rovers are keen to bolster their ranks after seeing Chris Kirkland return to Wigan after picking up a knock.
They have identified Ikeme as a top target and are poised to reach an agreement that will initially run for one month.
The deal will include the option for an extension should both sides wish to do so.
Ikeme remains well down the pecking order at Molineux and has already taken in a spell at Middlesbrough this season.
Since graduating out of Wolves' academy system, he has spent much of his career away from the West Midlands.
Should a switch to Doncaster be pushed through, he will take in an eighth loan spell in seven years.
