Swindon boss Paolo Di Canio is still not impressed with on-loan striker Cristian Montano after his public criticism of the forward.
Montano arrived at the club on a one-month deal in October and scored on his debut in the 2-0 win at Accrington, but since then Di Canio has been unimpressed by his attitude and body language in training.
Last week the Italian boss spoke in the press about his dissatisfaction with the youngster's input, in the hope that it would spark the 19-year-old into action.
Di Canio told the Swindon Advertiser: "After the news came out when I spoke last week about him, he came to me and said: 'Why this and why that?'
"I didn't see the reaction I wanted - he came to me to say that many people and fans had text him about the words I had said in the newspaper. He did not come to me to tell me what he needs to do and how to connect with the team.
"He didn't come to me to say he wants to stay once again so there is no reason for me to put him in the team."
