England Under 21 manager Stuart Pearce has made three changes to his squad for the Euro 2013 qualifier against Iceland on Thursday.
Jack Rodwell's promotion to the senior squad means the Young Lions need cover for the Everton midfielder.
And injuries to Sunderland's Connor Wickham and Middlesbrough's Alex Nimely, currently on loan from Manchester City, have led to the other changes.
Boro defender Joe Bennett, who missed last month's trips to Iceland and Norway through illness, Manchester United's Will Keane, who joins from the U19s, and Newcastle forward Sammy Ameobi, earning his first U21 call-up, have been drafted in.
England meet Iceland on Thursday at Colchester's Weston Homes Community Stadium before travelling to Mons in Belgium for their fifth Group 8 fixture on Monday.
