Birmingham City manager Chris Hughton has been named Championship Manager of the Month for October.
Hughton's side were undefeated through the month and he got the vote ahead of Nigel Adkins, Nigel Pearson and Dougie Freedman.
Birmingham won four and drew one in the Championship as they also coped with playing in the Europa League.
"It has been tough trying to get the balance right and what certainly makes life easier is that we have been able to manoeuvre the squad around," Hughton told Sky Sports News.
"At this moment, we probably don't have anyone who has not had a game, but this has been a real team effort and I cannot thank the lads enough for the effort they have put in.
"I knew the job I was taking on in the summer and I have been supported very well.
"The job I have done is not that different to other managers, you just have to cut your cloth accordingly."
The Player of the Month award was also decided with Crystal Palace full-back Nathaniel Clyne winning.
Selhurst Park boss Freedman said: "I am delighted that Nathaniel has won this award for October.
"He suffered the disappointment of a pre-season injury but typically worked hard to get back to full fitness.
"He came back into the side at Watford and has been part of some excellent defensive displays in the league."
