Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman has expressed his delight after David Wright signed a one-year extension to his contract.
The 31-year-old's deal will now run until the end of the 2012/13 season and his signing follows hot on the heels of Sean Scannell and Jonathan Williams agreeing new deals.
Wright has made himself one of the core members of the team this season and has played in all 15 of Palace's games.
"I am delighted David has put pen to paper on a new one year deal," he told the club's official website.
"He has been almost ever present since I have taken over and has good values in life so I am delighted he is going to be continuing with his time with the club once his current deal expires."
