Adem Ljajic's agent has confirmed that there is Premier League interest in landing the Serbian starlet.
The 20-year-old is currently only on the fringes of the first-team picture at Fiorentina.
Both Aston Villa and Everton have been linked with a move for the midfielder - who was once on the brink of joining Manchester United.
But Giorgio Parretti, his representative, feels that the player would be best served by staying in Italy.
"He is training well but he has managed only two appearances, now let's see what will happen in the next three or four games," Parretti told Tuttomercatoweb.
"The important thing is that we are in tune with club, certainly he won't leave Fiorentina on loan.
"The interest of some English clubs flatters us but I want to keep him in Italy because it is not the most beautiful championship but is the most difficult.
"Also he now has no problems with the Italian language, if I send him to England we have another difficult year."
