Toivonen commits to PSV

Skipper pledges future to Dutch club

PSV Eindhoven captain Ola Toivonen has penned a two-year extension on his contract to keep him at the Philips Stadion until 2014.

Toivonen: Has signed new deal

The Sweden international joined PSV from native outfit Malmo in January 2009, quickly establishing himself as first-team regular.

His former deal was due to expire at the end of the season but the striker has now committed himself on a new contract.

Toivonen has scored six Eredivisie goals this season to help PSV to second in the table.

The skipper made his 100th first-team appearance for the club in May this year.
