Jordan Rhodes has won his first call-up for Scotland's friendly with Cyprus, while Barry Bannan has been dropped from the squad.
Norwich defender Russell Martin and Queens Park Rangers striker Jamie Mackie have also won recalls from Scotland boss Craig Levein.
Mackie's last appearance for the Scots was almost a year ago against the Faroe Islands, while Martin earned his only cap against Wales in the Carling Nations Cup in May.
Levein revealed over the weekend that in-form Huddersfield striker Rhodes was in line for his first senior cap against Cyprus and that he would link up with the Under 21 squad for the European Championship qualifier against Holland on 14th November.
Aston Villa midfielder Bannan has been omitted from the squad, following his arrest on suspicion of drink-driving.
Rangers forward Steven Naismith and Celtic midfielder Scott Brown are both missing through injury.
