Anzhi Makhachkala have dismissed speculation that Samuel Eto'o could be loaned out to Paris St Germain during the Russian Premier League's winter break.
The Cameroon striker was reported to be considering the temporary move that would see him play in France throughout January and February before returning to Russia for the start of the season on 3rd March.
Earlier this month, it was rumoured Eto'o had approached former club Inter Milan over a proposed spell that could mirror David Beckham's previous stints with AC Milan during the MLS off-season.
But Anzhi press spokesman Alexander Udaltsov said Eto'o has since rubbished the claims and will publically affirm his position soon.
"When we contacted him, Eto'o said these rumours are completely false," Udaltsov said.
"He didn't say anything about this move. He will confirm later on the Anzhi official site."
Eto'o joined Roberto Carlos and Yuri Zhirkov at Anzhi in August this year for an estimated €28million, with a reported staggering annual salary of €20.5million.
