Boss delighted after Fulham get back to winning ways at Wigan

Fulham boss Martin Jol was satisfied after watching the Cottagers record their first away win of the season at Wigan. The Latics created more chances but Fulham were the more clinical, scooping the three points thanks to goals in either half from Clint Dempsey and Moussa Dembele. Dembele's decisive second goal on 86 minutes came soon after Maynor Figueroa had hit the post with a curling effort which could have levelled the scores. The welcome win came after Fulham had lost 3-1 at home to Everton last time when Bobby Zamora missed an open goal late on and Louis Saha and Jack Rodwell then scored.

Very satisfying

Jol told Sky Sports News: "It was very satisfying you know after last week. "It was a similar situation, they had a good chance we scored, last week it was totally different, we should have scored a winner and they scored. "So it was a good win for us, we needed it."
