Bastian Schweinsteiger is a major doubt for Bayern Munich ahead of next week's Champions League with Napoli through injury.
German international midfielder Schweinsteiger picked up a calf injury during Bayern's 4-0 win over Nurnberg on Saturday.
Schweinsteiger limped off after 71 minutes and he now faces a race against time to be fit for the visit of Italians Napoli on Wednesday.
"Bastian took a kick to the calf. That is normally a very difficult injury, which takes time to recover," explained Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes.
"We have to wait and see whether or not it is a calf strain. Then we can say more, but at the moment it doesn't look good."
