City youngster sets target of representing his country

Manchester City youngster Luca Scapuzzi has set his sights on winning a call-up to the Italian national team. The striker made his City debut against Birmingham in this season's Carling Cup and then started and caused Dorus de Vries' own goal as Roberto Mancini's men reached the quarter-finals by thrashing Wolves on Wednesday. Scapuzzi, an AC Milan Academy graduate, moved to England in August and is enjoying life at the Etihad Stadium. And he has now set his sights on eventually forcing his way into international football with Italy. The 20-year-old is quoted as saying by tuttomercatoweb when asked about representing his country at senior level: "I think about it. "I have worn some Azzurri when I was younger. The goal remains."
