Coventry striker Cody McDonald has insisted that he will begin to find the net regularly now after breaking the duck last weekend in the 2-1 Championship defeat to Burnley.
The 25-year-old scored his first goal for the Sky Blues since this summer's transfer deadline day move from Norwich two months ago.
The ex-Canaries frontman admitted that he was delighted to finally score and now he is hoping that he will make a habit of it.
"The goal has given me a bit of extra confidence," said McDonald. "Obviously when you don't score it can be a little bit daunting.
"But it was a bit of weight off my shoulders and hopefully I can capitalise on that now and score a couple more.
"I thought my fitness was actually alright when I first came, it was just more my sharpness but I've been working hard in training and I'm starting to feel a lot sharper, hopefully we'll start to see that."
